NOG KC Chiefs watch party!

North oak will be having a watch party on Sunday, December 15th at noon. Set up starts at 11:15 AM. Potluck style.

Christmas Celebration

We all know that the holidays can be hard. Therefore, North Oak hall will be open starting 10 AM on Christmas Eve and going all the way through 8 PM on Christmas Day. Please come down and enjoy the potluck and company. If you feel inclined for some twelve step work, there’s a sign up sheet on the back bulletin board for time slots.

New year’s can be one of the most difficult holidays to stay sober, so North Oak hall will be open starting 10 AM on New Year’s Eve and going all the way through 8 PM on New Year’s day. Make this your safe place and come join in the fun as we bring in the new year. This event is a potluck, so please bring a dish. There’s also an opportunity for some 12 step work. As we are asking people to sign up for 2 hours shifts so that we can stay open. Sign up sheet on the bulletin board.

We all know the holidays can be extra hard. So this Thanksgiving, the hall will be open from 10am on the 28th through 9pm the 29th.

This event will be a potluck, so please bring a dish!

Group Conscience

It is a very important group conscience because we will have elections. If you’ve never attended one, it’s a great opportunity to see how we put the traditions to work to continue to grow and maintain not only the hall but also the message through various outreach programs.

Chili Supper Fundraiser

November 8th at 7pm (right before SNL)

Alateen’s are having a chili supper fundraiser. Before the saturday night speaker meeting.

The North Oak Hall will be open starting at 10 am on the 22nd through 9 pm on the 23rd this November. We do this every year around the holidays because they can be some of the more trying times for those newly sober and with many years alike. To accomplish this we ask that people sign up for 2 hour time slots to make sure someone is there for the person that needs a meeting. The sign up sheet is on the wall in the coffee corner. This event will also be a potluck so please bring some food and enjoy the holidays sober.
