Children are welcome at the North Oak Group. A special room has been set aside for children to play. Please bring something to occupy your children’s time such as books, toys etc. Unless they are small and need constant supervision, they should not attend a closed meeting with you.
All Indoor Meetings are NON-SMOKING. When weather permits there may be some outdoor meetings on the patios in front of or behind the building. When you smoke outside please use the cigarette ash cans provided.
Parking is available in the front and rear of the building. Handicap parking is for those with a handicap sticker (displayed) or license plate. Please do not block the driveway or entrances. If the lot is full there is space available at the Post Office or Bowling Alley, but please be discreet. There is also some parking at the Doctor’s Office behind the building but ONLY after business hours, and please be discreet.
Anyone is welcome at Open Meetings. Our Open Meetings: the Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 PM which are Big Book study meetings, and the Saturday 8:00 PM is a Speakers Meeting. All other meetings are closed and are limited to those who have a desire to stop drinking. The Friday 10:00 PM closed meeting is held by candle light.
